Ongera’s remarks come after Wiper party wrote to the Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi over sharing of Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) slots.

She said that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka should have used other channels if his party wanted to be given a slot in the PSC.

Wiper wrote to Speaker Muturi seeking the replacement of Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga in the PSC and wanted Borabu MP Benson Momanyi to take her place.

"The Wiper Party should respect the coalition agreement and channel its complaints through the Nasa parliamentary leadership,” said Ongera.

She was addressing journalists on Tuesday at Parliament buildings together with more than 15 MPs from Raila Odinga’s Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

The group spokesman Godfrey Osotsi asked Wiper to make a decision on whether to remain in the opposition coalition following its move.

“Wiper should state categorically if it walked out of Nasa without our knowledge. We also urge the Speaker not to act on any letter but instead refer the matter to the relevant structures on Nasa,” said Osotsi.
