Kisii County youths have vowed to work together to fight crimes in the society and not to be misused by politicians.
Youths from all nine constituencies in the county who have been attending international week at Kisii Cultural Hall said this is the time youths needs to come together and fight crimes in the society as a way of improving living standards in the county.
Mr Joshua Ogeto who is one of the youths who have been attending the forum said they can only achieve their goals by uniting.
“We need to rise up as Kisii County Youths and say enough is enough for the better of our county since we have power and potential to change our society,” said Ogeto.
The youths, who were speaking on Wednesday at Kisii Cultural Hall, said they are targeting to fight vices such as alcohol abuse and female genital mutilation among others.
The international youth week benefited them by getting tips on uniting to fight crimes in the society.
Also the week has helped young youths with talents to exploit them.
Mr Benjamin Nyagaka a youth who is attending the forum noted that youths should realise that they are to use their leaders not leaders misusing them for their political gains.
