Timothy Bosire has dismissed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Tuesday tour in Nyamira as Public Relations gimmicks adding that the region remains solidly in opposition.

Kenyatta’s tour comes after a team of Jubilee Party strategists identified both Kisii and Nyamira Counties as tossup regions in August elections.

But in yet another jibe at Kenyatta’s government, Bosire, who doubles as Kitutu Masaba MP lamented that Kenyatta was only launching dormitories in Nyamira and re-commissioning of old projects as opposed to his central region backyard.

“I am told Kenyatta is coming to name one of Nyambaria High School dormitory and launch it as a development project,” he wrote on his Whatsap group on Tuesday from Canada.

The ODM national treasurer added: “He also wants to claim Kemera- Amabuko road as Jubilee project yet we know he has been frustrating the project. He wants to seek credit on Nyangori Water project that is funded by ADC.”

Bosire, a close ally of opposition leader Raila Odinga further said: “He must be serious on matter honesty and development and as well appreciate that Gusii is an ODM zone.”
