Kisumu City Residents Voice chairman Audi Ogada has now called upon the commission of administrative justice to investigate police brutality witnessed in the town during peaceful demonstrations against the IEBC Monday.
Speaking during a breakfast show on a vernacular radio station, Ogada said it was wrong for the police to use excessive force against the protestors who were acting within their constitutional bounds.
He added that IPOA had failed to hold the errant officers to book and called upon the Otiende Amolo led commission to take charge of the matter.
Several people including local leaders were injured during the protests in Kisumu.
