Kisumu All Stars registered a 1-0 win over Nakuru All Stars in a National Super League (NSL) match played at Nairobi’s Camp Toyoyo stadium on Sunday.

The solitary goal was scored by lethal striker Gerishom Arabe towards the end of the first half, to give the Kisumu-County sponsored side four wins in a row.

"It was the first All Stars derby in NSL this season and we take the All Stars derby bragging rights. On to the next one,” posted the Club on its Facebook page after defeating bottom placed Nakuru All Stars.

The win takes Kisumu All Stars to position four on the log with 14 points arising from seven matches.

Coach Nickanor Aketch side nicknamed The Eagles, have won four matches, lost one and drew one.

The top four teams; Bidco United, Western Stima and Kibera Black Stars all have 14 points, same as Kisumu All Stars but the Lakeside team has an inferior goal difference.

Kisumu All Stars was formed towards the end of last year, to take up Palos FC’s slot in NSL. The latter withdrew from the league due to financial constraints.
