Kisumu county clergy has condemned Governor Jack Ranguma for failing to introduce the deputy governor.
Kisumu county clergy chairperson Ezekiel Apindi speaking to the press members at Imperial Hotel noted with deep concern the act by the governor for failing to introduce his leadership stating that was poor leadership skills.
According to the clergy man, lack of unity amongst leaders cripples development plans, yet the locals need proper development and status improvement.
He further condemned the governor for publicizing their disunity terming such actions as unethical.
“Let’s not publicise our disunity. We condemn a disunited leadership as it is not friendly to growth. Leadership requires good role modeling by promoting team work and team building among leaders mandated to execute duties and responsibilities to the people,” said Apindi.
He further called upon leaders to embrace unity amongst them and put differences aside for the locals sake.
Church doctrine officer Alice Obiero also in attendance called upon close chains of working relationships amongst leaders.
She challenged the county executives to stop portraying the wrong image yet they needed to act as ambassadors to their local people.
She said that for development to be achieved, the executives needed to end their wrangles.
