Kisumu county government is on the spot for alleged delayed infrastructure improvement.
Kisumu County resident’s spokesperson Audi Ogada today challenged the county government for not speeding up the initiated infrastructure improvement in the region.
He noted that poor infrastructure in the region acted as a barrier to business and productivity calling upon harnessed allocation of funds to improve the county’s infrastructural status.
Audi challenged the county planners to advise the county government accordingly in seeing stipulated goals achieved at the right time frame.
According to Audi, delayed improvement of the initiated ventures was caused by misappropriation of funds and misallocation calling on proper allocations of resources.
“We call upon the speeded improvement of infrastructure. Delayed improvement on infrastructure will lead to poor investing as business operators will occur losses due to delayed movement caused by poor road network among other thing,” said Audi.
Audi challenged the MCAs to push the bills overseeing the completion of the projects stating that over dwelling on one venture leads to assets depletion.
Migosi MCA Paul Achayo also challenged the county government to complete the delayed initiated road network construction.
Achayo stated that poor infrastructures kill business growth and development agendas.
