Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr Ochieng Owili led a delegation of county officials to pay a courtesy call to the Managing Director of Kenya Investment Authority, Dr Moses Ikiara. 

The delegation was received in Nairobi by Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang Nyong'o's advisor on Investments and Resource Mobilization, Victor Nyagaya. 

The delegation included the Seme MP Dr James Nyikal, MCA Ogutu Seth Okumu; Agriculture Livestock & Fisheries CeC - Gilchrist Okuom; Trade and Energy CeC - Alice Moraa; Water and Irrigation CeC -Salmon Orimba and the Economic advisor to the governor Okong'o Omondi.

The meeting on Monday discussed various ways in which the county government can partner with the authority to attract more investors to Kisumu County. 

"This is in line with the governor's manifesto of making Kisumu the most preferred investors' destination in Kenya and East Africa. The county government remains open to both local and foreign investments for the greater benefit of the people," affirmed Owili.
