The school, together with surprise entrants Muhuri Muchiri and Laiser Hill yesterday won Kenya three titles just a day to the final day of this year’s Brookside East Africa Secondary School games played in Gulu, Uganda.
Muhuri Muchiri won the rugby 7s title on their debut in the regional tournament.
Laiser Hill Academy on their part hammered Ugandan side St Mary’s Kisubi 64-0 in the last round match staged at Comboni Vocational Institute to reclaim their rugby 15s title.
Kisumu Day crowned Kenya's day with another title following their 1-0 win over Ntare School of Uganda to ensure the hockey cup returned to Kenya in a do-or-die match played at the St Joseph’s College Layibi grounds.
After beating Kenyan side St Anthony Kitale in the football quarters, Kakamega were however eliminated in the semis by Ugandan side Jinja SS after a 0-2 loss.
