[Photo|Governor Nyong'o Communication Unit]Kisumu County Deputy Governor Dr Ochieng Owili flagged off the 38th World Tourism Day procession that kicked of at Prosperity House, Kisumu, Wednesday.Speaking at the function where he hosted the Siaya Deputy Governor Dr James Okumbe, KWS officials, dignitaries from the Tourism Fund, the Curator of the Kisumu Museum, members from the Council of Govenors from Nairobi and a host of tourism stakeholders from within and outside the county officials, Owili reiterated the county's commitment to exploit the tourism sectors potential on order that it sit firmly as destination on any tourist circuit.This would enhance the county's socio and economic growth.The guest visited The Impala Sancutary and the beautiful resort - Kisumu Eco Lodge, Wednesday.The team then enjoyed a cruise ride from Eco Lodge, a property owned and managed by KWS to Tilapia beach.
