Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o alongside his Deputy Dr Mathew Owili [Photo/Anyang Nyong'o]Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o has appointed Abala Wanga to the position of Political Advisor and Head of the Secretariat of the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB). The Lake Region Economic Bloc comprises 14 counties which Wanga is tasked to spearhead its activities. The bloc is made up of Bungoma, Busia, Homa Bay, Kakamega, Kisii, Kisumu, Migori, Nyamira, Siaya, Vihiga, Bomet, Trans Nzoia and Kericho counties.He will also serve as the political advisor to the governor in matters pertaining to emerging political agenda and diversified political issues in the county. A communication from the communication department on Monday said the move was resolved after consultation between the governor and Wanga.Wanga who has been the Director Administration at the county government of Kisumu, will be succeeded Haggai Kadiri.
