In a bid to rally wider support for his bid, Kisumu governor aspirant, senator Prof Peter Anyang' Nyong'o is taking campaigns to the Seme community.
The ODM candidate said he would introduce his running mate, Dr Mathews Owili to the people of Seme, a constituency within the Nyanza-based county.
The constituency is currently represented by James Nyikal who was elected on an ODM party ticket in 2013 elections."Today marks a very important day in my campaign calendar. I will be introducing my running mate Dr Mathews Owili to Seme Community and we will be reaffirming our commitment to ensuring that the people of Kisumu County get better services," Nyong'o said in a social media update, Friday morning.Nyong'o has been traversing various regions in the county, seeking support for his bid.
He faces competition from incumbent governor Jack Ranguma, who is vying as an independent candidate.
