The Masogo/Nyang’oma ward representative has faced accusations of mudslinging and undermining of area leaders, too.

Last year, Muhoroni MP Onyango Koyoo accused the MCA of mudslinging him saying that those were attempts aimed at selling himself for the seat in 2017 General Elections.

Barely a year after the MP’s allegations, a section of area leaders and residents told the press at Social Hall on Monday that Ong’ow has been undermining the opposition chief Raila Odinga.

“He has been going round in funerals and public functions uttering statements that paint the Cord leader negatively among the residents,” said Manyatta Youth Bunge chairman Benson Onoka.

Onoka challenged the Leader of Majority to aim at creating a legacy based on his service to the people rather than from mudslinging other leaders.

His sentiments were echoed by Nyalenda B ward representative James Were who said that the contribution that Raila Odinga has made in the country could not be watered down by an MCA.

“Without Raila, this country could not be where it is today and we have to respect that,” said Were.
