Ms Odinga challenged the county representatives to stop their in-house wrangles and concentrate on service delivery to their constituents.

“The MCAs should agree to work together with our seven MPs and the county executive to ensure that we implement the promises that we made to our people during our campaigns,” she said.

“This is the time for us to put our personal differences aside and work together to help change Kisumu.”

She asked the county assembly house committees to implement bills aimed at developing the lakeside county.

“We need to promote tourism in the county as well as attracting investors to develop Kisumu and this is why we need to work together as a team mandated to provide a better future for our residents.”

She urged the acting county assembly speaker Gabriel Ochieng’ to ensure unity among the MCAs to ensure that the house businesses continue.

“As the speaker of the county assembly, Ochieng should ensure that there is sanity in the house and the house business continues as normal for the development of the county,” she said.

Odinga said that she is working closely with Governor Ranguma and dismissed claims that she is undermining the county boss.

She also challenged the seven MPs to develop their constituencies to give the county government an easy time in developing the lakeside county.
