A man was on Tuesday arraigned at the Winam Law Courts in Kisumu after he allegedly abused a neighbour by comparing his face to a shoe.

The incident happened in Koyango, Manyatta.

It is alleged that the two had a disagreement which prompted the accused to abuse the his neighbour.

The court was told that on January 16, the accused, Geoffrey Odhiambo told the complainant, Quinter Achieng that her face was ugly and resembled a shoe. 

A fight broke before other neighbour separated them.

Appearing before Principal Magistrate Caroline Mchaladi, the accused denied the charges and was released on a Sh30,000.

The case is set for hearing on February 3.
