Boniface Ogutu, a Kisumu man, who has been on hunger strike is slowly getting weak due to poor health.
The Mamboleo resident has now gone for six days without eating anything as he protests the deportation of Miguna Miguna.
According to the man, the deportation of the lawyer to him is a complete violation of the constitution.
The man is now in a frail condition and only survives on glucose being fed on him by well-wishers.
According to Standard Newspaper reporter, Boniface has been depending on a doctor who has been visiting him at the Kondele flyover where he has been spending his days and nights.
"It has not been easy for me but a friend of mine who is a doctor has been visiting me and giving me professional advice on what I should do," said weak Boniface.
Speaking to the reporter, Mr. Ogutu expressed his readiness to die just to protests the government's disobedience of the law through the hunger strike.
"I do not care even if I die of hunger. I have been very unhappy with the way the state has been abusing the rule of law," said Ogutu.
However, many people have expressed their concern about his deteriorating health and promised to help him.
"We have come to Kisumu to look after him. We know he is putting his life at a risk but it is a worthy cause," said Otieno Ombok, an activist.
