[Photo|Eddy Illah]Kisumu County Deputy Governor Dr Ochieng Owili visited victims of a fire tragedy that broke out at Jua Kali in Railways Ward. The Tuesday early morning fire which broke out at 12am, destroyed property worth millions of shillings affecting operations of Jua Kali artisans. Flanked by area MCA David Arao, Owili took contacts of the affected and promised to take up the matter with the Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o.

He reiterated the county government's commitment, to support informal business sectors.Meanwhile Owili also had a closed door meeting with officials from the UN - Habitat Officials On Establishment of a Youth Development Centre in the county.
