They said their daily allowances have been delayed for more than three weeks now.

''Our money has delayed, for the past four weeks we have not received any cash. I wonder how our bosses want us to survive yet we have children to feed back at home,'' said a one Otieno.

The angry youth said area MP Ken Obura should quickly address the issue before it gets out of hand.

They however, got solace from the Kisumu Central constituency manager Nashon Ng'wena.

Ng'wena said he will ensure the youth get their money and further advised them not to demonstrate.

Speaking to the press, Ng'wena accused some political leaders of piloting the protests.

He said he wonders how only 100 cohorts could demonstrate yet the county had around 1,000 cohorts.

He said the inciters will be dealt with.
