Kisumu pastors associations have challenged churches to respect everyone’s denomination so that faithful co-existence can be acheived.
The Pastors Association leader Ezekiel Obonyo noted that every individual had the right to freedom of worship, and should be able to exist without the fear of their faith being undermined by any body.
The pastor held a forum at his Worship Church compound to promote freedom of worship, he spoke to journalists "We have noticed with disappointment an increase in criticisms against different denominations, every denomination needs to be respected"
Church Doctrine officer Judith Omugambi also had concerns that churches had become more invested
She continued by saying that church was a holy place of worship and should be regarded with the high respect it deserved.
Youth Church representative Alvince Omwanda also urged individuals to stop disregarding others denominations since such dismissal was not only improper, but that it promoted division.
"Every local needs to be able to congregate anywhere of choice without disregarding other denominations." Omwanda said.
