Kisumu Business Community has sent a warning of what impact the pushing of Raila Odinga at the airport would have on the region.
A footage of the ODM party leader being pushed around by police officers at JKIA emerged last night.
This together with the humiliation Miguna Miguna was treated to has raised tempers of the Kisumu Business Community.
"Miguna Miguna is a Kenyan by birth, not naturalization. The courts have affirmed the same. if the government felt that was wrong they had an avenue to appeal, so to see treat him to that kind of facade and to see them pushing Raila, hey! what kind of a nation are we building? This region is hurting," said Hesbon, a professional accountant in Kisumu.
Speaking to a, KTN reporter, Hesbon informed the government of how the act of pushing Raila has been received with hostility in the region.
"As we speak now, Kondele is boiling up slowly, Ahero is not a place you would want to be now and that is what we were trying to come out of now. The businesses have really suffered and they were starting to speak up," he said.
"I want to tell the president wherever he is and the government in general, that act of pushing Raila at the airport has sent very bad signals and temperatures around this region. is not good for this country, is not good for the Business Community," he said.
