The residents lamented the poor state of Kenyare - Estate road adding that former governor Jack Ranguma shortchanged them.

They claimed that the former governor promised to repair the road but failed to construct anything substantial.

“The road that was built only got to Migosi junction. Benefiting only Kondele locals leaving us in the cold,” said Jared Obare a resident of the area.

They now want Governor Anyang' Nyong'o to fulfill the promise or give them a response regarding the issue, failure to which they will move to the streets  on Monday.

“We overwhelmingly voted for the former Governor because we were desperate and the roads were impassable. We demand that we be constructed the road with immediate effect,” David Oloo a resident of the area noted.

According to him, the poor state of the roads always have a negative impact on their businesses.

“During the rainy seasons, we hardly make sales since we can’t avail them to our customers. We pay taxes and we demand to have services,” he stated.
