A section of ODM supporters has insisted that they would love DP William Ruto to be Raila's running mate come 2022.
The duo has once worked together in 2007 during Raila's presidential bid as they were both Members of ODM Pentagon.
Kisumu residents have cited that Raila Odinga and William Ruto have a great performance history and they would love them to bury their political differences and work together in 2022.
"When Raila and Ruto partnered in 2007 the outcome was great. The two have known each other for long and they have good working relations. If the two can bury the hatchet and join hands together come 2022 then it will be a done deal for Raila Odinga's presidential bid," Jack Oluoch a resident from Kisumu explained.
Kisumu residents cited that there were no enemies in politics and invited Ruto to their camp come 2022.
"There are no permanent enemies in politics. We have recently witnessed Uhuru and Raila resolving to work together for the better of the country. We now want Raila and Ruto to bury their political differences and work together in 2022," Erick Otieno a businessman in Kisumu said.
