Photo/nation.co.keKisumu has been mapped out as one of the risky areas where cases of road accidents occur oftenly.In a joint statement, Ag Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i and his Transport counterpart James Macharia said several other risky areas in the country had already been mapped.In Kisumu County, Kericho-Kisumu and Kisii –Ahero routes were mapped as killer spots.Other most affected areas along the Northern Corridor are Nairobi-Thika-Sagana, Mai Mahiu - Narok - Kisii routes."The National Police Service and the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) have been directed to enhance surveillance and enforcement for Traffic Rules in these areas," said the two government officials.
