Kisumu Senator Fred Outa has announced that the Senate will frustrate government Bills if money to counties is not fully released.Outa says that they had given notice to the cabinet secretary for Treasury Henry Rotich that they will act within two weeks if funds are not disbursed to counties.He said several projects have stagnated due to the delayed disbursement.Speaking to journalists in Kisumu when he toured a number of water projects in Nyando constituency, Outa said a few counties have begun receiving the money but in small portions.“The people are yearning for development after taking part in the general election and the national government should not infringe on their rights,” said Outa.Outa said that as a senator, he will continue to put the government on toes to carry out its duty of releasing funds to address common needs of the people.Is there a newsworthy accident, incident or event happening in Kisumu County that you want Hivisasa to cover?
