ODM's Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o has said.Citing the historic presidential petition ruling that nullified Uhuru Kenyatta's win in the August 8 polls, Nyong'o said the struggle for political emancipation and freedom of the people was bearing fruit. "The Constitution of Kenya (2010) is alive. Kisumu is in celebration! Celebrate! Celebrate! Kenya has made a mark in African and World Politics. Our judiciary has lifted us above nations of the world," Nyong'o said, as he led hundreds of Opposition supporters, celebrating the Supreme Court victory a long Kisumu streets, Friday.
He said, Raila Amolo Odinga, the Orange Democratic Movement and the National Super Alliance (NASA) had opened eyes to new political possibilities. "Everything is possible under the sun, for those who keep the faith and wait upon the Lord. Justice has been served!" He said, flanked by his Deputy Ochieng Owili."In 60 days, we elect Raila Odinga as president of the Republic of Kenya. Raila will be President. The conspiracies of evil and dark forces in this country and elsewhere will not stop our journey to Canaan," added Nyong'o, a NASA member.
