Kisumu County Woman Representative aspirant, Grace Adhiambo has criticised the six piece voting pattern claiming it has denied Kenyans the right to elect leaders of their preference.

Adhiambo, who is also the Citizen Convection Party leader, said this while at Tom Mboya Labour College on Tuesday where the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) issued her with a clearance certificate.

During her address to journalists, Adhiambo, said calls for six piece voting were a means used by the big political parties to gain unnecessary political tyranny.

She said that the system takes advantage of the electorate by imposing to them leaders whom my not be of their choice.

“Six piece voting and the big political parties have failed Kenyans,” said the politician.

She said the system is undemocratic and that it stages a risk of introducing voter apathy ahead of the August Elections.
