[Photo|Rosa Buyu]Kisumu County Woman Representative Rosa Buyu, participated in Monday's anti-IEBC demonstrations in the town, alongside several NASA leaders. She maintained that the IEBC must ensure Opposition's irreducible minimums are observed, before it participates in October 26, fresh elections, and further left the below message to the ruling Jubilee government."The beginning of separation of great nations did not begin any different way than ours is starting. Coming to force of dictatorship has never started without the involvement of parliament and castigation of the judiciary. On the eve of the announcement of presidential elections, body bags and teargas canisters were brought in this region in monumental proportions. We are asking ourselves whether we belong to this republic, race or we are guests in this nation creating need for secession. We shall not accept two people to continue governing this country clandestinely by stealing elections to continue with this kind of nonsense. We shall not be cowed into submission because the police are hellbent on throwing live bullets, teargas canisters to separate peaceful demonstrators. We shall not relent, we shall not bulge. We shall move forward, push forward until the time that real democracy shall be entrenched in our governance and systems .Freedom is not given voluntarily by the oppressors, it has to be demanded by the oppressed. This is one of those days, this is one of those moments that we shall remain steadfast until this country is free and democratic to all regardless of the race, colour or the tribe you come from."
