Kitilit said that Raila did not have the interest of Kenyans at heart.

“He has realized that he does not stand a chance in the next general elections and hence is using it as a tactic to divide Kenyans," Kitilit said.

He urged Raila to respect ICC's decision.

“The ICC was wise enough to ensure that we did not go to war again. It's unfortunate that as opposition they endanger the lives of people to seek their own selfish gain,” he added.

He was speaking at an exclusive interview on Friday at Rift Valley Sports Club where he challenged the government to foster peace and reconciliation in the area.

“We signed a peace agreement in 2007 between the Kalenjins and the kikuyus seeking to ensure that there is no violence after any elections in the country,” he said.

He added that the President and his deputy did not have enough time to address the IDP issue as they were most affected by the court but now they are free to relook into their pleas.
