Youths from Kitui County have criticized Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka for being silent after Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi issued inflammatory remarks against Governor Charity Ngilu.
The youths questioned why Kalonzo had not commented on the MP's statements and demanded that he talks about the issue.
Led by Moses Munyalo, the youths said the former Vice President's silence was questionable since he has political alliance with Ngilu.
Munyalo said Kalonzo should tame his noisy MP's who don't measure their words before spitting venom.
"Governor Ngilu supports you, in fact she's ready to join Wiper for your sake. Why are you silent as her name is smeared with dirt by your own MP," Munyalo said.
The youths now want Kalonzo to break his silence over the issue.
This is after Mulyungi on Monday told Ngilu that she is not welcomed to his constituency.
Mulyungi allegedly called the governor, a chameleon for launching projects in his constituency without involving and instead inviting his opponents from Jubilee party.
