Speaking at Ikuruma village on Monday during a fund raiser, Mr. Dickson Onsomu said he will tackle the political heavy weights in the region driven by youth and women agenda in the region.

He said the region needed visionary minds to prosper besides electing someone who had political will to work for all residents without discrimination.

“In have thrown my hut into the ring and no one will deter my dreams.  We want visionary leaders who will work for everyone without discrimination and I am sure that I am ready to bring that alternative leadership,” he said.

“Our youths and women have been discriminated by previous and even the current leadership and this is unacceptable. As youths and vulnerable groups, we must come out and fight this discrimination,” he said.

He asked youths to register as voters before the next election and use their votes to determine the destiny of the Kitutu Masaba residents.

“I call upon youths to be vigilant enough and register as voters in IEBC centers. Our population is bulky and we can use the numbers to change everything for the better,” he said.

Mr. Onsomu joins political heavyweights from the region led by the incumbent Hon. Timothy Bosire, former MP Walter Nyambati and flamboyant city lawyer Shadrack John Mose in the titanic political battle.

End.
