He has lauded him for adopting the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) recommendations of having more judges in the judiciary.

The MP, who was speaking in Nyamira on Wednesday, said the appointed Judges are competent and they would help in fastening hearing and ruling of cases that has been a challenge for some time.

“I applause the president for appointing 14 judges to High Court. We have had fewer judges that cause delay in hearing of cases and therefore having more judges will help avert the situation,” he lauded.

“I ask the president to appoint more judges so that they can satisfy the demand,” the legislator added.

However, ODM national treasurer accused the president of sidelining the youth in the appointment he did into various parastatals.

He accused him of going against his manifesto pledge during the campaigns by appointing the old guard leaving with no representatives of the youth.

“The president was misadvised in his appointment. In his campaign pledges, he promised to specially include the youth in his government in order to empower them. He has forgotten the Digital campaign slogan by recycling the old,” lamented Bosire.

President Kenyatta appointed 302 chairpersons and members into various state corporations that has since sparked flurry of criticism from the opposition, with some reproving him of nepotism and awarding politicians.
