Students of Kitwii secondary school in Kangundo sub-county were sent home after they turned chaotic in the morning while they were going for their morning preps.
The students broke glasses and window panes in the institution before some of them sneaked out of school.
According to the school principal Mr Nzau, the students broke glasses as they were alone hence nobody could contain them.
Mr Nzau further added that the students were afraid of examinations hence resulted into chaos but pointed out that investigations have begun whereby he was forced to close the school to give room for more investigations.
The students are expected to get back to school after two weeks with their parents to commence with exams.
The incident which is the first to be reported in Kangundo sub-county has sparked fear in other schools as principals it may spread to their schools.
