According to the Star, Kiunjuri dismissed calls by Opposition leader Raila Odinga and the Knut to have the 2016 KCSE examination results audited, praising Matiang'i for delivering credible results and restoring sanity in the exam management.

"Kenyans are happy with with how Matiang'i handled the whole examination issue and there is no turning back," Kiunjuri said as quoted by the Star.

Speaking on Sunday during a church service at PCEA church in Nanyuki town, Kiunjuri further accused Raila of failing to note positive reforms undertaken by the Jubilee administration.

Only 141 KCSE students scored grade A in the 2016 examinations.
