[Photo: the-star.co.ke]Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has been warned against his constant attacks on Deputy President William Ruto or risk having his 'shady businesses' exposed.Devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri has threatened to expose Kabogo saying his businesses are shrouded in secrecy and Kiambu people and Kenyans, in general, should be told about it.Kiunjuri said Kabogo’s wealth could never propel him to leadership.“During his tenure as Juja MP, Kabogo contributed little and most of his motions were only aimed at defending his mysterious businesses. He should also be reminded that he spent time attending to inquests to absolve himself on mysterious deaths that had occurred on highways,” Kiunjuri said on Thursday as quoted by the Star.The former assistant minister equated Kabogo to a drunkard who falls into a ditch full of stench and then mocks a worshipper into a fight."If this goes on, he will be tasked to explain the source of his immense wealth," added the former Laikipia East MP who was speaking during a community participatory meeting at a Nanyuki hotel organised by the Devolution Ministry to educate the public on governance.Kabogo fallout with DP Ruto seems to have started when he was widely quoted in the media last year telling Ruto not to expect automatic support from Mt Kenya in his 2022 presidential bid.He has repeated the same assertions severally to as late as Wednesday this week when he appeared for interview on Citizen TV's JKL show.
