Jubilee Party is assured of a landslide victory against the National Super Alliance (NASA) in next month's general elections, Devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri has said.

Kiunjuri rubbished remarks by the opposition alliance leaders that the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led coalition cannot defeat NASA without rigging, saying the allegations are a plot by ODM leader Raila Odinga's team to reject election results.

"They keep on saying that we have more than 100,000 dead voters, they can take them. We will still trounce them with a margin of over two million votes," he said.

The CS accused NASA of using independent institutions to seek sympathy saying that the opposition alliance was banking on the Judiciary to win in the polls.

"We know that the last NASA weapon of the courts will fail because elections must be there in August and we have many ways of killing a rat and so they should not think they will make it," said the former Laikipia MP as quoted by the Star.

Kiunjuri was addressing a public participation forum organised by the State Department on Devolution at Matuga School of Government in Kwale County, Monday.
