A Kenya meat Commission (KMC) Manager has moved to court seeking to stop his replacement after the manager allegedly delayed a meeting hosted for Seychelles President Danny Faure held at the Commission.Mr Patrick Shitsama, who was the production department manager says he was not given a fair hearing before the decision was made last September. Through his lawyer, John Khaminwa, he argues that his rights are continuously being infringed since recruitment to fill his vacancy is going on yet the appeal process has not been concluded."His constitutional rights are infringed and will continue to be violated forthwith with the recruitment process without affording him an opportunity to lawfully appeal the decision to have him summarily dismissed,” said lawyer Khaminwa. The Seychelles President Mr Faure paid a visit to the state owned Meat commission on April 4, 2017 during his visit in Kenya.Mr Faure also met President Kenyatta where the two leaders agreed to work together in order to boost regional trade and trade between the two countries.KMC managing commissioner Joseph Learamo wrote a letter to Mr Shitsama over the delay demanding a written explanation saying it was an embarassment to the state.Court papers presented by Mr Shitsama said that the Commission had internal challenges during the President's visit but did not divulge into detail. However Mr Shitsama said he had expounded the details to KMC management.
