The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board has rubbished claims that the doctors have been paid their July salaries and other allowances.
The secretary for KMPDU Dr Ouma Olunga confirmed this after Machakos county through the communication secretary Mutinda Mwanzia claimed that the doctors have received their July salary and other allowances.
"I can confirm that the doctors have gotten their salaries for July the governor should stop his cat and mouse games and meet our demands," observed Dr Olunga.
Olunga noted that the doctors will continue with their strike until their demands are met.
This comes two days after Africa Brotherhood Church Archbishop for eastern Africa Timothy Ndambuki requested governor Mutua to solve the doctors strike issue as Machakos residents were the ones suffering reminding him that when two bulls fight the grass suffers.
