The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) Kisii county Chairman Benjamin Onkoba has said small- scale businessmen in Kisii County will be sensitised on how they get loans from various banks through borrowing.
According to Onkoba, such businessmen should get help as one way of promoting them in doing business and growing the county economically.
Speaking to this writer on Thursday in Kisii town, Onkoba said many of small-scale businessmen have no ideas of getting loans from banks, prompting some not to develop through the business that they conduct in various places in Kisii County.
“We want to help our small scale businessmen in Kisii County by sensitising them on how they will get loans from banks and how they follow a procedure of getting loans,” said Onkoba
“Kisii County needs to grow economically through the business sector to attract more buyers and investors to invest in the county,” added Onkoba.
He also challenged such businessmen to form groups to be easy for them to educate every group on how they get loans
