Kenya National Examination Council has denied claims that the upcoming Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams has been compromised.

This follows claims that leaked exams papers were found in Mbooni, Makueni County.

KNEC chairman Professor George Magoha said the said the leaked papers are not similar to the questions set in the coming exams.

Magoha assured that the same systems used during the 2016 exams are still intact.

"All exam papers are safe and secure. Teachers should concentrate on preparing the candidates and ignore fake leakage claims," he said.
