The Chief Executive Officer of the embattled Kenyatta National Hospital has appeared before a parliamentary committee on health where she offered a spirited defence of the institution.Ms. Koros also made some revelations which may be interpreted by some Kenyans as shocking.She said that when she assumed the reins of the institution there were no CCTV security cameras revealed that the borders of the hospital are porous.The situation, according to her, has been compounded by the lack of funds.''The hospital's borders are porous due to incomplete perimeter fencing occasioned by the lack of funds. The hospital is surrounded by high-density areas...''Ms. Koros words come amid mounting public outcry over reports that breastfeeding mothers have been sexually harassed.
