Doctors at the Kenyatta National Hospital are yet to resume duty even after the strike was called off.

By Thursday, most doctors in other public hospitals across the country had resumed duty.

It is alleged that the doctors are protesting in solidarity with their collegues who were sacked .

However, in a statement released to newsrooms, the hospital management stated that the sacked doctors were reinstated while 48 others facing discplinary action have been cleared.

The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union-KMPDU which called off the strike Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret blamed the management of Kenyatta National Hospital for delays in signing a return to work formula with the union.
