This is according to the Kenya National Human Rights Council vice chairman George Kegoro who equally said that Mr Miguna was mistreated.

"The happenings at the JKIA was against court orders which were not right," said Mr Miguna.

Mr Kegoro said that he followed everything as it took place and expressed his disappointment on how Mr Miguna was handled by police officers.

Mr Miguna arrived in the country on Monday afternoon and he is currently being held at the Airport.

An attempt to deport him to Dubai did not bear any fruit as Mr Miguna refused to board a Qatar Airways plane.

This has been condemned by opposition leaders who are demanding that Mr Miguna is taken to court.
