Joseph Kipngetich Bii, branch chair, pointed out that the fund has grown though with emerging challenges, key among them, last year's September, October and November failure by the Teachers Service Commission to effect deductions.

This  is the period when teachers countrywide  paralysed learning in public schools following pay disagreement with the employer.

On the other hand, James Omao, branch treasurer said the fund has maintained a great positive improvement.

"From the audited accounts for last year, the share capital stood at Sh152,316,610 against Sh135,841,472 for 2014, which is an increase of Sh16,475,318. The enormous increase in share capital is a great indicator of share holders' confidence now and in future of this dynamic fund."
