Different stakeholders have been calling for the postponement of the polls due to political tension.
Knut has urged the Government to postpone the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations.
According to Homa Bay County Kuppet executive secretary, Stephen Yogo, however, maintained that the examinations should go on.
The Knut executive secretary for the Rachuonyo branch, Eliud Ombori on his part argued that some candidates in day schools might miss examinations if political tension escalates.
On Thursday during the repeat presidential polls, violence was witnessed in Opposition strongholds, something that jeopardized the exams.
