Kodera is among four other executive members who were dropped in the new line up announced by Governor Jack Ranguma.

He said he is a professional and questioned the incompetency tag the governor has used to drop him.

He said that amounted to defamation which will taint his name as a professional engineer.

“My image is at stake following this allegation that I am incompetent. I am moving to court to fight this and seek for some compensation,” he said.

Addressing the press in Kisumu, Kodera said he will also be demanding salary for the remaining period he was to serve as the executive member.

He said his sacking is good riddance and would not like to come back and serve in the county government.

“I am not ready to work in this government and my sacking is on time. I will do other things for the county,” he said.

Ranguma today morning relived five executive members citing lack of team work that threatened to derail his ambitious plans to offer quality service delivery to the people of Kisumu.
