Congolese maestro Koffi Olomide has been arrested in his home country Congo days after being deported from Kenya.
Koffi Olomide was arrested on Tuesday at his home in Kinshasa, DRC, for assaulting a female dancer in Kenya.
Media reports in Congo say, the "ekotite" hit maker was arrested over his actions at JKIA.
The Rhumba maestro was deported to Kinshasa, DRC, after spending a night in police custody last week after Kenyans on Twitter called for his deportation.
Before he was deported from the country, Koffi had denied assaulting the dancer identified as Pamela during a live TV interview and termed the incident a "moment of madness"
His show at Zambia's Agricultural And Commercial Society, where he was scheduled to perform at this year's 90th Show, was cancelled as a result.
