Kariobangi Sharks have raised complaints of being short-changed in the sharing of gate collections.
Gor Mahia officials have been put on the spot for alleged fraud in sharing the gate collections with Sharks.
They have been asked to pay Sh58,000 to Sharks within not more than seven days or the money be deducted from their monthly grants.
Sharks said Gor paid them only Sh1,000 after their match versus Zoo Kericho.
Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Chief Executive Officer Jack Oguda in a letter asked Gor’s top hierarchy to take stern action against the officials involved.
“From the certified collection tabulation sheet by those who managed the game, the net collection after deductions of all expenses was Sh296,275. A share of 20 per cent of this figure amounts to Sh59,255 and not Sh75,395.
“We are convinced that this is the true and correct reflection realised in the match.
“Any other purported tabulation by Gor Mahia is outright fraud that we condemn in its entirety, and by a copy of this letter call upon the club chairman to sanction officials who try to malign and bring the game into disrepute,” Oguda said as quoted by the Star.
