Former Subukia MP Koigi Wamwere has lambasted a section of opposition legislators who yesterday blew whistles in parliament to disrupt president Uhuru Kenyatta's state of the nation address.
In his official facebook page, Koigi said the MPs could have done better than blow whistles in parliament buildings.
"As an expression of democracy , the opposition must tolerate opinions of government as the government must tolerate opinions of the opposition," read part of the post. Koigi, however, maintained that it was better fo MPs to fight in parliament than for wananchi to fight and kill one another outside parliament on behalf of MPs.
Yesterday Cord MPs led by ODM chairman John Mbadi were ejected out of parliament after disrupting Uhuru's speech.
Others included Opiyo Wandayi(Ugunja), Millie Odhiambo(Mbita), Gladys Wanga(Homa Bay county),Simba Arati(Dagoretti North) and TJ Kajwang (Ruaraka).
