Veteran politician Koigi wa Wamwere has blamed the Jubilee government over increased corruption.
Speaking on Sauti ya Mwananchi Radio Saturday, the former Subukia parliamentarian blamed Uhuru for being 'nice' to corrupt individuals in government during his first term in office.
"All this can be traced back to poor leadership as the government was initially reluctant to battle corruption. As a result, graft cartels are feeling safe and free to continue stealing from the public," Koigi said.
He said Kenyans have become comfortable with corruption.
"Kenyans are now stranded without any idea of what to do. Otherwise, we would be seeing people demonstrating and pushing for tough measures against suspects," he added.
