Veteran Nakuru politician Koigi wa Wamwere has once again questioned Deputy President William Ruto's leadership qualities.
Speaking on Sauti Ya Mwananchi Radio's 'Cheche' program on Saturday, the former Subukia MP maintained that he will not support Ruto in the upcoming 2022 presidential race.
He said the DP will have to prove his leadership credentials to convince him into reconsidering his stand.
"He must prove to me that he is worthy the post and my vote by ensuring that all their joint pre-election promises with President Uhuru Kenyatta are realized," Koigi said.
Koigi said as of now, Ruto stands no chance of realizing his bid, stating that his ambition to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta hangs on a balance.
According to Wamwere, the Jubilee government has failed terribly, with the biggest victim being the DP as Uhuru is approaching his retirement.
"He cannot be voted on grounds of unfulfilled promises, poor infrastructure and transportation channels, widespread poverty and hunger," he added.
